The Manitoba Mountain Bike Provincial Championship is the Provinces' showcase event. All members are encouraged to bring their family and friends to
watch and volunteer. There are many ways in which you can get involved in this
event. Please consider the following list and contact the race organizer for
further information on volunteering.
Volunteer Opportunities
Course marshals: Help ensure
the safety of racers by direct vehicular traffic, racers and fans moving along
the race course.
Parking lot marshals: facilitate orderly
efficient parking.
Registration Table: Sing up both pre-registered
and race day registrations. Ensure race licences meets all the UCI standards.
Ambassador: The ultimate diplomat
who can answer questions, direct racers, fetch this and that and basically do
everything no one else has time to do.
Course Preparation and Development: involves cutting, cleaning, taping, flagging the race course.
Everyone is welcome to help with the final setup:
August 17th 10am – 8 pm
Food Table Preparation/Server: set up and
distribute food immediately after the race.
Clean-up Crew: course, chalet,
parking, garbage and recycling lot etc
